The top is too stiff and almost cuts into my leg

Very comfortable (truly felt like I was wearing sneakers), unfortunately, even with high thick socks, I still struggled with soreness/chaffing above my ankle from the boot portion.

Online purchase of a new brand of shoe is always risky when it comes to sizing. That's why I measured my own feet and used the size-conversion chart to make SURE I purchased the right size. 24.75cm (~246mm) and 25.5cm (~255mm) since no two feet measure the same, and I went with the Women's 9.5M since the size-conversion chart listed it as 254mm. Usually I wear an 8.5 or 9 in other brands, but the chart was very specific, so I based my purchase on that. The shoes just arrived, and at first glance I could tell the looked larger than normal...maybe men's? Nope, tag and box label were both correct...so I tried them on, only to realize the sizing is clearly incorrect. I went ahead and measured the inside length just to verify if it's my feet or the inner length that is incorrect. The shoe insert measures 27.5cm (275mm) on the dot, so according to the size chart that would be a SIZE 12 in Women's. So with the knowledge that the helpful shoe-conversion table is off by nearly 2cm (~20mm), I'll have to hope that a size 8.5 was the correct choice all along
