Storm Defender®

Storm Defender Jacket

Storm Defender® waterproof, breathable technology stops rain, but lets sweat escape through a breathable membrane ― so you can work through a storm.

Staying dry, focused, and safer is easier with rainwear featuring Storm Defender® waterproof breathable technology. It’s made to keep you completely protected from rain and amazingly comfortable inside. Work doesn’t stop when it rains; it just gets harder. Lugging rain soaked garments around adds to the misery, but Carhartt’s jobsite worthy raingear cuts the discomfort.

Not waterproof
Bought these boots for my son in June 2022. They state they are waterproof and even have a tag on them that says waterproof as well. However, my son comes home with his feet soaking wet, socks dripping, etc. in the rain. We have to stuff them with newspaper and put in front of the heater for a fighting chance of having "dry" shoes for work the next day. It takes days to dry through. They are quite expensive and we didn't have the money to buy a second pair. Big disappointment. I have tried to contact customer support, but they just say to bring to bring back to the store of purchase. He works everyday, when can he be without workboots?

Carhartt sucks
Let it be known that when carhartt boots claim to be WATERPROOF they are not. I work in a greenhouse and wear these boots when my feet are soaking wet when I get home and remove them. I bought these boots because they said WATERPROOF and they absolutely are not. Carhartt is a total ripoff. Don't buy them.
