These boots are great. They are waterproof and do not break/wear at the toe from working.

This is my third pair, My other 2 pairs are 8 & 9 years old, they are the best boots I've found. These have survived where other high end boots have not. The sole is very long wearing. Great ankle support. When the original laces broke, I had replaced them with paracord, and I will do the same with this new pair. I have 20+ years of professional experience in relative trades. My first pair were special ordered when working Deep Draw Forming/Metal Stamping & heavy equipment operation. The first 2 weeks of that job destroyed my RWs, and shredded the soles right off. My first pair of these 10" PAC Carhartts outlasted years of that job, I bought my second pair when that job was done. The company covered 50% of the cost both times, they were $300 back then. That right there is what I love about Carhartt, and their pricing. You get quality gear, and the price stays consistent over decades. Whenever this 3rd pair wears out, I will be buying a 4th,5th,... You should get them, they do not disappoint.
